Review

Wow! What a great story! We first meet Caliana Crawford aka Cali, who’s fed up with her crappy job, so our girl quits. She can gets an inheritance from her aunt so she’s basically set for life. But before venturing off for a new adventure, she decides to visit the old lake house at Dalia that was also left for her.
During this time in the story, I really got to know the character and the author did such a good job of describing the scenery. At times I felt I was actually there, sitting by the lake.

Her first day there she is spotted by her next door neighbor of many years,Owen Matthews, who has had a huge crush on her since before she went off to college. The romance and raw sexual magnetism toward each other makes you root for them. But, of course, a hidden past and a previous relationship will come back to try and break them apart. I absolutely loved Owen and can see why Cali fell for him so quickly. He has some serious charm and I wouldn’t mind getting swept off my feet by him. *whew!*

Overall, this was a great debut. The only I would say was that it was a little predictable in some parts but I still enjoyed it. I can’t wait to read the next story in the series!!
