About the Author
As an Award Winning and International Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Kobo Best Selling Author, I have always been an avid reader. I joke that I “cut my romance teeth” on the old historical romance books. I’ve written as a hobby for over 30 years. In 2014, I finally gave in to the characters in my head pleading for their story to be told. Thus, Emma’s Home was created.

This is the first book that I’ve read from the author and it won’t be the last. I have followed her work since the release of her debut novel and finally had time to read a book of hers. I was very excited to read this book as the blurb had me hooked and boy, it did not disappoint!
We first meet Annie, a veterinarian who lives life in the shadows. She’s lonely, keeps to herself, and occupies her time with her vet clinic. One night, a mysterious man, is in need of her help, to care for his sick dog. After their interaction, the story starts to take a mysterious and dark turn. I could not put the book down after this point. Annie finds herself trapped in a world full of murder, crime, and hot passion all because of the mysterious man, Stoney.
After an incident, Stoney tells her his darkest secrets, but will Annie stay away? Or will his alluring pull to her be too much for her to resist?
There are so many unexpected twists that I loved and I found myself flying through the pages. I read this book in just 1 day; it was that good!
I don’t want to give anything away, but if you love dark romances, then pick this book and read it ASAP! This book is cliffhanger free and leads into the next installment of the series. Can’t wait for the next one!!
