Breezy comes from a place without hurricanes, but that never stopped her from blowing in and causing chaos wherever she goes. She’s feisty, energetic, and unafraid of speaking her mind. She’s also a hot mess in need of a job. Derrick’s used to dealing with all types of people. After all, he owns his own business. But when he meets Breezy, she impacts him harder than any storm ever could. Too bad even the gorgeous new girl in HR can’t make him break his one rule: no dating employees. Ever.

There’s just one problem. Breezy’s never been good at following directions, and her boss isn’t the only one with a serious office crush. Can the new girl convince him to throw caution to the wind?

About the Author

Kelsie is a sucker for a love story with all the feels. When she’s not chasing words for her next book, you will probably find her reading or, more likely, hanging out with her husband and playing with her three kiddos who love to drive her crazy.

She adores photography, baking, her yorkie, Bob, and her devon rex, Mara. And now that she’s actively pursuing her writing dreams, she’s set her sights on someday finding the self-discipline to not binge-watch an entire series on Netflix in one sitting.

Review

This was a cute and hilarious read!

Bree is a whirlwind of energy. She pretty much has no filter. I love how she is straightforward and doesn’t really think before she speaks. She is adorably cute. When she finally lands her first ‘big girl’ job, she isn’t really ready for her sexy boss.

Derrick isn’t too sure of his new HR employee. He knows that there is something about her that he likes but with his trust issues he isn’t giving into his feelings. But as soon Hurricane Bree comes blowing into his life and work things change and he can’t fight the battle.

We follow as these two build a relationship with some trust issues thrown in. There are some misunderstandings along the way but their love conquers it all.

I just wish there was a little more sexiness in here. Not that it takes away from the story but it’s just my personal opinion. These two are fun and Breezy will leave you in stitches.
